Chili, not because it is chilly outside, just because I ordered the Bountiful Basket and needed to make something with the vegetables that we received . Not a lot of variety so had to really have an open mind. You can just type in the vegetables that you want to use and so many things come up. I like to spiralize I typed that into google as well. So many recipes that you can make your own by adding/taking things out and making it your own or just get an idea and make it totally your own. This is more of a vegetarian chili, however you can brown some meat and add it it, ground or cubed. whatever you prefer. I left mine all vegetable. The sauce is so simple. 1-2 Onions rough chopped 5 cloves garlic 3 stalks of celery with leaves Butter Olive Oil 1 zucchini spiraled (you can always add more) 1 carrot spiraled 1 can garbanzo beans 1 can pinto beans 1 can kidney beans (if you are feeding 4 or more 2 tsp Cumin 1 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon 2 Tbs...

March 17, 2019 Green pistachio wedding cookies dripping in a ganache icing. These cookies are really yummy and the chocolate frosting is so very good. Nice little treat after a big meal. It is not too sweet, it is just little bite. You don't have to color with green food coloring. That is up to you. You can make these anytime and not have to have them green. These would also be good for Easter and the icing can be done with white chocolate and dye just the icing. These are good anytime. It can be a quick cookie you make after work as it takes no time at all to make and few ingredients. 1 cup softened butter 1/2 cup powdered sugar 2 tsp madagascar vanilla 2 1/4 cup flour 3/4 cup nuts Powder sugar For the icing you can make chocolate ganache or white chocolate icing or just roll in powered sugar. 1 cup of chocolate chips or white chocoate 1 cup of heavy cream Heat oven to 400 degrees. Beat butter, powdered sugar, and vanill...

May 18, 2019 So you have leftover cabbage right. For some reason cabbage isn't the most eaten on St Paddys day. I will show you how to make a quick dinner after work and use your leftovers. My mom used to call it cabbage stoop (stew and soup) I am not really into soup, so I leave out a lot of the liquid and only add enough to make it move. I am sure there are more things she put in hers and she always added all kinds of vegetables. It is funny I never ate it when I lived at home. I am glad that my adulthood I started liking it. Such an easy and quick meal to make and really with everything you already have in your fridge. 1lb of hamburger or whatever ground meat you like. We are beef people Butter 5 cloves chopped garlic 1 white/yellow onion chopped 5 stalks of celery Head or what is left of the head of cabbage sliced Canned Tomatoes or tomato puree Brown the hamburger with 2 tablespoons of butter along with the onion and garlic....

March 17, 2019 HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAT So if you are like me and the 100's of 1000's of people , you cooked Corn Beef, cabbage and potatoes. Whether you got a 4 pound or larger or more than one, we all cook the same way. I use the crock pot as it is the best option for me especially on a Sunday. Dinner was completely done by the time we were ready to eat and so low maintenance . Corn Beef, you pick the size Small red/yellow potatoes Carrots Head of cabbage Set your crockpot on high for 6 hours. Place your potatoes on the bottom of a large crockpot, then cut the carrots in 3 pieces and then slice the bigger part of the carrots and if the bottom is small enough then just put those pieces in the crockpot. Place the Corn Beef on top of the vegetables and you can place carrots around the corn beef. Cover with water. Just before your dinner is completely done, slice the cabbage in small wedges and place in the crockpot water while the dinner is completi...

February 3, 2019 Almond (or any nut) Sweet Triangles (or any shape) I hope you all know by now that I love to make desserts as well as good food. I love trying new things whether sweet or salty. Wait....this is a recipe for sweet AND salty. You can cut them in triangles if you prefer, however I cut them in small squares and you can even get a biscuit cutter and shape them in circles or stars or...... I think just a small bite of these sweet treats is enough to get you past lunch and then have another after dinner :) The sweet soft chewy bottom holds up the caramel sweet syrup poured on the top. you can sprinkle any type of nut that you like over the top of this sweet chewy cookie. You could even divide (in your head) the sheet pan in thirds and sprinkle 3 different types of chopped nuts. Almonds, Pecans and Macadamia. How fun would that be. 2/3 cup salted butter 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup 1 tsp of good vanilla (madagasca...
