Creamy Garlicky Meatballs

 


  • 1/2 lb of each pork maple sausage and ground beef 
  • French onion soup mix
  • 1 cup white cooking wine
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes or fresh halved tomatoes 
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, spinach soufflé or creamy spinach
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage 
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  1. Mix sausage and ground beef with the onion soup mix. Let sit 15-20 minutes. 
  2. Heat oven 425° use small cookie scoop and place meatballs on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. 
  3. Cook for 20-25 minutes 
  4. In the crockpot, add chicken broth and white wine. 
  5. Add meatballs and stir.
  6. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until heated through. Add tomatoes 30 minutes before the end of cooking time. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and spinach not long before serving . 
  7. It might turn out like soup… that’s ok. You can either have soup or scoop out meatballs with a little sauce and mashed potatoes.
