Creamy Garlicky Meatballs
1/2 lb of each pork maple sausage and ground beef French onion soup mix 1 cup white cooking wine 2 cups chicken broth 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes or fresh halved tomatoes 1 cup frozen spinach, spinach soufflĂ© or creamy spinach 1 cup shredded cabbage 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Mix sausage and ground beef with the onion soup mix. Let sit 15-20 minutes. Heat oven 425° use small cookie scoop and place meatballs on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook for 20-25 minutes In the crockpot, add chicken broth and white wine. Add meatballs and stir. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until heated through. Add tomatoes 30 minutes before the end of cooking time. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and spinach not long before serving . It might turn out like soup… that’s ok. You can either have soup or scoop out meatballs with a little sauce and mashed potatoes.
