Rice Krispy WHAT!! Pumpkin Perfected
These aren’t your ordinary treats….
Pumpkin spice and pumpkin puree does just the trick
If you use the extra large marshmallow cut in 1/2 or 1/4 so they melt easier.
Ingredients
4 Tbsp butter
4 Tbsp pumpkin puree
3 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
13 1/2-14 oz Large Marshmallows
16-17 cups Rice Krispies
Using Dutch oven with enameled inside as easier to
Melt butter and pumpkin. Once melted add pumpkin spice, stir until melded. Start add marshmallow and continue to stir. Stirring continuously so marshmallow don’t burn start adding Rice Krispies and turn off burner. Continue to add Rice Krispies until not longer wet just pliable. Scoop into 9x9 pan add quickly. Pressing down slightly with silicone spoon. Once all is in pan using hands to gently press and shape into the corners.
