  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ¾ stick cold butter

  • 2 tablespoons coconut milk
  • Chopped pecans

Maple butter
3/4 stick butter
4 Tbsp of pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Heat oven to 425°

Blend all dry ingredients then cut cold butter in slices, drop in dry ingredients. Use pastry cutter to mix butter and dry ingredients until mix turns to pea size.

Add all wet ingredients pumpkin, milk and egg.

Mix with pastry cutter. Dough will be sticky. Use spatula to pour batter onto a well floured surface. Keep adding flour to dough until pliable. Not too much or the scones will taste like flour.
