Pumpkin Alfredo Linguine






 

You can use any pasta that you have. I wouldn’t use Angel Hair pasta. You need a hearty pasta that will hold up to the sauce. 

I used a jar of Bartoli Alfredo Sauce and then added ingredients to it. 

I only cooked enough for 3 people. 3/4 box of linguine and 1/2 jar of Alfredo. 

You can make the Alfredo from scratch if you have that kind of time. 


Ingredients 

 3/4 package linguine cook as directed 

1/2 jar Bartoli Alfredo Sauce 

2Tbsp grated Parmesan 

1 Tbsp granulated garlic or use 1 clove fresh minced 

3 Tbsp dried or chopped fresh Basil

1/2 15 oz can pumpkin puree

Mix all ingredients except linguine, in large bowl. Set aside sauce until linguine is done. 

Do not drain pasta. Turn burner off and using a pasta spoon add pasta to prepared sauce. The pasta eats helps the sauce stick to the pasta. Mix and serve. The hot pasta will heat up the sauce.
