White Chocolate Berry Dressed Brownies

I always use parchment paper instead of butter in my dishes because it’s easier to get the dessert out of the pan and let’s clean up.

You can use any kind of berries that your chews that are in season. You can also add sugar or cut sugar as you are making your compote I choose a little less sugar, because the berries have so much of their own.

You can add your berry compote to the batter and cook it all together or do what I did and do the compound and pour over the brownies. You can add whip cream, or whipped topping of your choice.

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, cubed

2 cups, sugar

 4 eggs,

10 1/2 ounces white chocolate melted

 2 cups flour

Berry compote

2 cups of berries,  choice are used blueberries blackberries and raspberries

One cup sugar

Heat oven to 350° line 9 x 9 baking pan with parchment paper

On a stand mixer, mix, butter and sugar until the cream together add the eggs one at a time incorporate them melt white chocolate in microwave watching constantly. Add to butter and sugar mixture, cream together then add flour 1 cup at a time.

Pour batter in prepared pan bake for 20 to 25 minutes

While brownies are baking make the compote by pouring the berries into a sauce pan and adding the sugar heat on medium stirring constantly so the sugar is forms a syrup then you’ll want to lower the heat and continue to cook until the berries are soft and syrup has thickened slightly.

Let brownies cool for at least 2025 minutes, then pour the compote over the top and add whip cream to the side or on top
