The Best Sausage Biscuit
This is so easy and will look like you took all day to make. I use pre-made things to make is easier as long as it is a good brand that takes pride in their products. Hawaiian biscuits can be found in the refrigerator area of your grocery.
Depends on if you want to make 8 or 16 biscuits.
1-2 cans of Hawaiian biscuits
1-2 packages of Jimmy Dean maple flavored sausage
Egg yolk
directed.
Follow directions on package of biscuits for oven temperature and cooking instructions.
Unwrap sausage and divide into 8 even sections . Flatten into round patties.
Fry on medium high heat in skillet.
Let cool in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Remove all biscuits out of tube and separate.
Dust an area on counter or cutting board with flour. Place biscuit on light floured surface. Roll out biscuit, once lengthwise and then sideways.
Place cooled sausage patty, pull dough around patty. Shape into roll or pull up four corners. Brush with egg wash.
