Bread Pudding Smore'

Smore' Bread Pudding
This is so good, if you like bread pudding, you will LOVE this bread pudding.  Using Hawaiian sweet bread is so very different and wonderful. I used Hawaiian rolls as our stored didn't have any sweet bread, it cut down on the sugar. It has everything you want in a dessert.  There is bread and chocolate yum.  What more could you ask for.  My favorite thing is bread any way it comes.
It is so velvety and smooth.  I used large marshmallows and cut them in quarters. I tried something different with the graham crackers and used a knife to chop the graham crackers and that way they are chunky pieces instead of power like what you get when you crush with a mallet or rolling pin.  Depends on what you like.

Ingredients

4 cups of Hawaiian sweet bread cut in chunks, you can also use Hawaiian rolls
4 eggs
1 14oz sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup milk or 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla paste
1/4 tsp grated fresh nutmeg or use ground nutmeg
1 cup or more tiny marshmallows
Chocolate chips
Graham crackers in small pieces for crunch

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Butter 13x9 baking dish or smaller if you are making 1/2.  Place the bread evenly over the bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle 1/2 the marmallows and some chocolate bits over the bread. Mix together Eggs, milk, sweetened milk, vanilla and nutmeg.  Pour this over the bread. Bake for 35 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle the rest of marshmallows and place back in the oven until the marshmallows turn a little brown then remove and sprinkle more chocolate chips and graham crackers pieces that you have either used a rolling pin to crush up or mallet or chop them with a good knife.  I like pieces vs

Scoop two scoops into a dish and serve warm or cold great either way.
