Make Your Own Pizza

Make your own Pizza

It is important to use a pizza pan with the holes in the bottom to let the air flow through and makes the crust crispy for a thin crust pizza. You can use herb or citrus infused olive oil.

I use store bought Pillsbury premed pizza dough or Wewalka classic style pizza dough. Whatever makes it easier for you.  You can also make your own yeast pizza dough. I also used a premade pizza sauce in a squeezable bottle.  You can also use pasta sauce chunky or smooth.  I have used many kinds of this.  Ragu, Prego Kroger.

1 pizza steel pan
1 premade or make your own dough
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella Cheese grated, large grate
Sliced fresh garlic
Pepperoni-deli sliced
Salami
Linguica
Sausage
Bell peppers thinly sliced
Red Onion thinly sliced
Mushrooms
Black Olives sliced
Green Olives sliced
Scallions or Shallots
Preheat the oven according to the package directions for the dough.

You can choose any or all of the above condiments to put on your pizza or think of different ones for yourself.

Pizza dough needs to be cool but not cold, do not bring to room temperature.  Use a rolling pin if you need to so you can roll out the dough.  Please look at my Instagram account for a video FantasticFoodieFun

You can also work and stretch it yourself. Once you have your dough stretched then gently place it on an olive oil rubbed pizza pan.

Sauce is either squeezed on or poured on and evenly spread around the dough next sprinkle the cheese around, you can go to the edge of the dough if you choose. Then start layering any of the meats or if you are choosing veggie only then layer those ingredients.  Peppers, onion, Mushrooms and olives go last so they are on top.

Cook according to the directions on the pizza dough package.
