Have you ever received a text just before leaving work, from a child, spouse, friend needing you to bring some kind of dessert to school, dinner or meeting that you are attending the same day?
You don't know what to do and you are stressed out.
Well I have the perfect dessert for you to make and bring and you will be the talk of the school, party or meeting.

This is so easy you will wonder why you didn't think of it yourself.  This is the time of year for pumpkin and pumpkin spice.  They are a favorite of just about everyone.  Do you like, ok, I should have said Love chocolate, then this is definitely the dessert for you.

I was just sitting around knowing I needed to make a dessert but didn't want to make just ordinary brownies. Anybody can do that right.  You could make the brownies from scratch if you are up to it but I am going to give you a simple recipe using Ghiradeli brownie mix, triple chocolate it can be any brand that you might have on hand

Here it is:

1 box brownie mix, follow the recipe
8 oz canned pure pumpkin, not canned pumpkin pie
1 Tbsp plus Vietnamese cinnamon (stronger flavor)
1 tsp powdered cloves

Mix the boxed brownie mix as directed. Mix thoroughly add the pumpkin and spices and then mix all at once. The batter will be more dense than usual. Pour into parchment line 9x9 metal pan and bake as directed. Cool and then cut as you like.  You can add cream cheese frosting if you like or ice cream.
If you like spice you could also add 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper for a little zing to the chocolate.

 This is so good and healthy.  Ingredients 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided 1 Red onion diced 2 cups Chicken stock, warmed 2 garlic cloves, rough chopped 1 bag Jasmine rice Success  1/2    cup cooking white wine  1/2 -1 cup parmesan cheese  2 Tbsp butter 12 oz sliced white mushrooms  3 oz snap peas with tops removed with the string. Slice julienne. Sauté onion with olive oil and a little butter, cook until translucent and add rice cook for 3 minutes.  Start adding stock 1/2 cup at a time stirring in between. It might not take the entire 2 cups of stock. Add wine and let cook off. Once liquid has disappated then add cheese and stir. Mini Cheesecakes with Apple Caramel Sauce I love making mini cheesecakes as they store really well and you don’t have to worry about eating too much. You can top them with almost anything. This recipe theses cheesecakes will be topped with a velvety fresh apple caramel sauce. I used a mixture of Granny Smith and Red Delicious . I peeled mined but you could leave the skins on the Red Delicious if you prefer. You can do the caramel sauce two different ways. Buy a jar of Smuckers or your favorite brand of caramel sauce or make your own using sugar and butter. I made a sauce for the apples and then used the jarred caramel sauce with it.
